This will be the thread for incident/ guard reports as well as the place for any other important papers, documents, or personal letters that anyone wants the Marshal to read. Feel free to post or do a little RP-esque writing. Templates and examples for incident reports below. Delete anything in parenthesis, as those are just guides.

Anything posted here will be canon and will be things that the Marshal can bring up to your characters in game RP. Other characters may not bring up what others post here, unless they filled out the report, or were around to witness what happened, as directly citing these reports otherwise would be rifling through the Marshal's desk.

Offense Summary

A theft occurred in the tavern. Do'Maadrul had ordered a sweet roll at the tavern, and it was served as expected. Suddenly, Elsynia appeared out of the shadows and lunged for Do'Ma. A struggle ensued, but luckily there were no injuries. Elsynia did rip the sweet roll out of Do'Ma's hands and devour it. Rest in peace sweet roll. Total value of stolen property: 7g.

Witness 1: "Her jaw unhinged like a snake!"

Action Taken

Elsynia was thrown into the jail and she was given the opportunity to explain the situation. She was detained for a few hours, before given the opportunity to pay a fine for the stolen property, to which she did. A 100g fine was collected from her and she was released.

People involved: The offender, Rythein, a Morag Tong assassin. The victom, Kuri-doh
Degree of offense: First Degree

Scene of crime: Vulkwasten Tavern during some time between afternoon and evening.
Offender's Status : Missing.
General Report.

Rythein the offender was seen, and caught killing a Khajit who supposedly went bye the name with Kuri-Doh with the intent to murder him, resulting in a charge of murder in the first degree. He was seen shoving one sword in his victims back, and another at his throat giving it a fatal cut. Something worth noting is that Rythein went willingly and did not resist his arrest, and he carried a question writ of execution that may or may not be fake. Reasons being suppository Kuri-Doh massacred several innocent people.


Action taken.

Rythein was arrested with no problems as he dropped his weapons and went willingly. The arrest was done bye Lieutenant Malyne, with the assistance of Arimani and Do'Wadiq. Kuri'Doh's corpse was taken care bye Arimani while Do'Wadiq assisted in transporting him to the cells.

Considering how this ended I suggest putting a warrant out for his rest wanted alive to pay our fine, or offer him release him under specific terms.

General Report.
A Imperial necromancer who goes bye the name Cidius summoned two flesh atronachs having them assault four guards, a Treethane Elsynia, along with two citizens. Also wanted for severely injuring two guards.


Action taken.
Three gaurds Malyne, Arimani, and Do wadiq defended the the town from two constructs with the assistance of Elsynia, and the Morag Tong Assassin Rythein who was released momentarily to help fend them off. Gaurds where forced in engage in combat resulting Do'Wadiq's legs crushed flat almost beyond no repair. Along with Maylne being crushed as well resulting in over half his ribs shattered, a punctured lung, and severe internal bleeding, all which where healed greatly bye Nelleil.

Thoughts and opinions.
Send guards through training to combat Daedra to be handle the situation as a precaution to the possibility of it happening again. Put a warrant for Cidius's arrest wanted dead or alive.

A normal day at the tavern morphed into a scene. A cry was heard from the distance, and as Bhidul rushed to see, the others followed. Ainaon screamed in distress, as a woman dealt skooma to him. She tried escaping, but was caught by Do'Wadiq and Bhidul. She was questioned for a long period of time... and plans have been made... as you may know, mistress. The woman was semi-cooperative. Although with a lot of backmouth that had to be swept off, the guard managed to grab enough information as possible from the woman. She may still be needed for other plans. The woman said things such as "You wait" and others of the sort. This made the woman criminal watched closer. Bhidul's guard senche-panther has been stationed near it, and should be able to alert, or attack any intruders who are foolish enough to break out the criminal.

The woman was questioned in the cells. She currently is jailed, and will be watched carefully, as she is still needed. But afterwards, it is suggested that she is charged somewhere between 2-5 thousand gold. Guards and citizens should stay vigilant, and make sure the woman or other fellow dealers are not caught around the town.

General Report:

During administering a punishment to a young teenage Bosmer male he was found holding onto skooma hidden in a special canteen. The boy would draw his swords and try to escape arrest as I and Bhidul attempted to detain him. He was once again cornered in another corner of the tavern where he refused to drop his weapon and fought back, as Bhidul tryed to knock the boy un-conscious Melane would fire a arrow aiming for his arm trying to force him to drop the weapon, as the arrow was fired he would move at the wrong time and the arrow woudl go through his neck resulting in his fatality. As we tryed to help the child he would remove the arrow forcing him to bleed out faster and pass on the floor of the tavern in his own blood, too which a adult female Bosmer with horns would take the boy taking care of the corpse.

Action Taken:

We tryed to arrest him which I reluctantly inform resulted in a fatality due his resisting of arrest. The people who attempted to arrest the boy was Arimani, Bhidul, Malyne, and Melane. Melane went with the woman to take care of the body and gave him a proper funeral.

Personal Thoughts and Opinion:

Melane did not mean to kill the boy, it was done purely bye accident and I ask that any punishment she is sentenced too to be taken in mind it was accident and she does greatly regret her mistake. I also suggest our Guardsmen take more time to train and for Melane to be given time off until her punishment is decided.

In the dead of night, while Vulkwasten sleeps, a lithe, hooded figure slips into the room containing Elsynia's desk, her furred tail lifted high off the ground. She places a folded slip of fresh, crisp parchment onto the desk, sealed with an exquisite blue wax bearing the seal of the Blue Skooma Company. The letter would read as follows:

Dearest Treethane Elsynia Nightwind,

You may have noticed our assistance in the matter of the Ebonheart Pact occupation of your little hovel of a town. Let this one make herself clear. This does not mean, by any stretch of your tiny little Bosmeri imagination, that we are friends, or allies now. This one could not care any less for what happens to your disgusting hole of a village. We assisted your monkeys with swords purely out of preservation for our business, nothing more. Do not expect such friendly interactions the next time our people meet.

On Sun's Height the 16th, Turdas, the Khajiit, identified as one "Ahzriji" by Bhidul, arrived in town. She was seen about the tavern for no more than an hour, before exiting, claiming she had to meet someone. Approximately five to ten minutes later, Ahzriji was found dying in the alleyway behind the tavern. A large gash split her torso down the middle, and several smaller, diagonal cuts were spread cross the larger one, in some sort of symmetrical pattern. The Khajiit was also missing an ear, and held a dagger (Standard issue of the guard, investigation into ownership ongoing) just near her heart, which seems to have punctured an aorta.

Guardsmen Fedris Timberscrub and Afer Leotus, along with Spinner Racuvar and Barmaid Styletta, were the first to respond to the scene. Ahzriji was taken to the clinic, where, despite best efforts, she was quickly dead.




"I didn't see anyone there."

"Nobody was fleeing the scene when we got there, the Khajiit was just all cut up."


Though a search of the town was conducted, nobody who could be linked to the murder immediately was found, beyond a few circumstantial suspects.

Ahzriji Autopsy Report
Upon inspection of the body, noticeable injuries include the following;
A perfectly symmetrical pattern of diagonal and horizontal cuts, each cutting as deep as two inches. The victim's left kidney, as well as her left ear, were both removed with the same blade. Another cut is present on a major artery in the leg. Cause of death seems to be blood loss.
Further inspection of the body reveals a large crack to the back of the victim's skull, indicating heavy blunt-force trauma. The angle of the crack seems to suggest that it was created by a downward strike. It is likely that the victim was unconcious while the cutting occured.

A murder occurred in the Tall Trunk Tavern. The Breton, Avella Stormgarden of Wayrest, High Rock was found dead with a blunt wound to the head. Autopsy report concluded she died of a massive hemorrhage.




There are no known witnesses



Spinner Racuvar apprehended Oakendale upon her admittal of poisoning the town guard. Spinner Racuvar believed it necessary to apprehend Oakendale in connection to the murder of Stormgarden.






The accused offender, Kirwaen Oakendale was recently attacked in her jail cell by an outside assailant.
I have my suspicions that said assaliant was Oakendale's husband, Farlal Oakendale.

Evidence to support my claim:

Farlal Oakendale's whereabouts are unknown
Farlal Oakendale has shown no concern for the incarceration of his wife.
Farlal Oakendale has, in the past, manipulated Kirwaen to the point of indecent exposure and subjected himself and her to heinous acts of self mutilation for the sake of their art.
A torn invoice for Five candied goat snouts was found signed: 'The Artist' a known Alias of Farlal Okendale

Because of my relationship to the accused, I hereby relinquish my involvement of this investigation to Guardsman Afer Leotus, due to a conflict of interest.

Lady Treethane,

I am turning in my uniform and stepping down from my position as a guard due to the choice the council made for Captain. I cannot in my heart follow her. In her course as a guard she was reprimanded several times by Era. She foolishly shot a arrow in the Tavern while a young man was being arrested and killed him. At one point she confessed to me she had thoughts of killing herself. After she left Vulkhasten and confronted me as a Altmer I was attempting to arrest a young woman and man. The woman claimed to be half Deadra and said she was possibly dangerous yet she had yet to harm anyone or commit a crime. The man claimed to be a vampire and yet had no record. She expected me to murder these two I would not instead they were apprehended and banded from town. I do not slay people for what they may or may not do. On top of it she disrespectfully threw her talbard at my feet. This all happened in the inn with several witnesses for both the accidental murder and the desire to see possibly innocent blood spilled. I believe the council has made a terrible decision. I have now said my peace. I lay it at your feet if anyone should ask I shall merely say I left for private reasons. I have no desire to undermine the guard here I simply cannot follow such a being.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Battlereeve Urcelmo of the first Auridon Marines. Over the last few weeks you must have seen a new face in town, an Imperial. His name is Readran Telessar he is Colovian by descent but Auridon raised. Queen Ayrenn has expressed interest in having Dominion soldiers and scouts within each little hamlet of this Alliance. We have assessed the population and size of Vulkwasten and determined that one Marine will be enough.

Mr. Telessar has a distinguished enough record within the Dominion Armies to be fitted with this assignment. To note: Readran is a Dominion soldier first. He will uphold the law of this Alliance when needed. In the next few days he may apply to become a guard to make himself less noticeable. Should you accept he will do everything you require of him.

No evidence of such action has been found though the accused has admitted to the accusation.

Offense Summary
A murder occurred in the Vulkwasten Tavern of the young Avella Stormgarden last month. After a lengthy investigation, it was discovered that the prime suspect, Kirwaen Oakendalef was innocent and framed by her husband Faral Oakendalef. Her husband assaulted her while in the jail and carved symbols into her upper thigh before fleeing the location.

Action Taken
Suspect Farlal Oakendalef, aka. “The Artist” was confirmed to be at Rawl’Kha after a tip. Captain Menelin Bluebrook sent three guardsman with her to assist in the arrest of the mer. THe corpse of another man was found at the scene, identity to be determined and next of kin to be notified. After apprehension, the mer was publicly executed by one Captain Menelin and body burned by Guardsmer Fedris Timberscrub.

Other circumstantial evidence includes a pair of stiletto heels purchased at a merchant kiosk not far from town, just off the main road, about a day before the murder, along with a pearl bracelet. Cumulative cost is about one thousand drakes. No name, only identification given is, "V."

An eyewitness account was just recently turned in. According to this witness, someone entered the barracks late at night, while the guards were sleeping. Definitely male, and not wearing the guard uniform. However, no guards know anything about said man.

Desna seemed to attempt to pickpocket La'Zita, but she was instead searching the Khajiit for dangerous weapons. It was as though she was having a paranoid breakdown. When approached and asked to take a step back, she drew a bow on the Treethane, shooting a warning arrow at her feet.

When questioned, it was found she was afraid of a supposed skooma dealer by the name of Ra'jhirr may or may not have people after her. Ra'jhirr is a khajiit with two ear piercings on his left ear and dreadlocks. He also has a dialect that is very pronounced. He will be taken in for questioning on sight.

She was arrested by Nami and taken back to the cell for questioning. The questioning was done by the Lady Nightwind as well as the punishment.

Miss Styletta resisted and claimed to have no knowledge of such an agreement with the elderly mer. Dairelyn slapped miss Styletta across the face, hard enough to knock the girl onto the ground as well as attempted to force her away by her arm.




Prior to the altercation, Eranor Bluewhisp and Hloriella Timberscrub were approached by a verbally aggressive Dairelyn. Only Myself, and miss Styletta witnessed the altercation at the housepod.



I, Fedris Timebrscrub, had to slap Dairelyn across the face to halt her aggressive behavior to miss Styletta. No further force was necessary, as Dairelyn did not further resist arrest.




Dairelyn seems to be overly hostile to dunmer.
I would like to inquire on the legality of Dairelyn's claim on Styletta's marriage, as this matter is most distressing to myself.

A silver bolt flew through the tavern window to strike Alena in the chest. She is in stable condition now, though Grey went out to catch the attacker, and successfully reprehended him. After some roughness and exchange of unkind words, the hunter lunged for Grey, and Grey ended him.




Many saw the shooting, though Nal, Korvos, Ainoan, and myself all saw the final battle between the two.




Nalwynn attempted to retrieve the attacker from Grey, though he didn't seem to comply. Eventually Grey had to end the hunter in defense.




Grey seemed to use some unnecessary force and didn't much comply with the guards, though he will not be taken in as the death of the other hunter was self-defense. I advise still keeping an eye on him. Grey seems to be in quite a bit of trouble, and I don't want our town getting wrapped up in it.

On Morning Star 3, Morndas at 12:37 AM, the Bosmer, identified as one Finidrath was arrested for Theft, Conspiracy, Threats on the Treethane and possible pact with daedra and/or criminals.

Finidrath confronted Elsy Nightwind in respect to Finidrath's false accusations of Elsynia's involvement with Daedric Activity. The confrontation escalated to a shouting match between the two Bosmer resulting in witness, Thorn Con (Fighter's Guild) hurling an axe in the direction of Finidrath. Elsynia shoved Finidrath out of harms way, causing a superficial laceration on Elsynia's arm. Krimie Nightvale prevented further bleeding by tightening her belt around Elsy's arm, resulting with Krimie's pants dropping (again).

The commotion alerted townspeople and soon there was a gathering around the scene of the incident. The Inspector was able to detain Fini by paralyzing him and preventing further harm by Thron. Finidrath was confined to the jail and healed by Luscius Laeuseius.

Upon removal of Finidrath's belongings, the Inspector discovered a small jar of paint, identical in color to the nail polish found on the severed toe, presumably belonging to the missing Kirawaen Nightvale.

Complicating matters, the Inspector had also discovered that Finidrath's toe was severed, thus implying that the mailed toe belonged to Finidrath instead of Kirawaen.

On the 5th of Morning Star, acting investigator Hadreus Veltilius stumbled upon the victim upon investigating a strong vanilla smell. On realizing the nature of the smell, he called Alijham behind the tavern, who promptly removed the body and brought it to the clinic to be cleaned up.

The body appeared to have large, intersecting vertical and horizontal gashes down the torso, bearing a striking resemblance to the wounds found on the body of Ahzriji. Following suit, the body was also missing a kidney, and its ears. In a divergence from operandi, however, the body's throat was also found slit, and a mask, crudely resembling the mask of one Shado, of the Kogo Onei, was placed on its head.

The victim was Altmer in race, though his identity, nor the motive for the murder have been uncovered.

Due to heavy rainfall, most clues were wiped away, however, the prints of a female's boot, presumably a Bosmer's, were found, along with a small swath of pink fabric, woven of jute. The weapon, found at the scene of the crime, was a kitchen knife.

Addendum - Upon further investigation, the knife was found to have belonged to the Tall Trunk Tavern, as a knife matching the murder weapon's proportions was found missing from the upstairs kitchen.









The incident is currently under investigation by acting investigator Hadreus Veltilius and Marshall Menelin Bluepool.

On the 6th of Morning Star, the incarcerated Finidrath confessed to the brutal torture and murder of the Bosmers Find and Kira. Witnesses to the confession were the Captain Menelin Bluepool and deputy Nalwynn Nightvale. The confessor allegedly burned the bodies after a series of insidious torture methods including, but not limited to; Heretics Fork, Tongue Tearer, Flaying, Forced Ingestion and the dissection and mutilation of body parts.

According to the confessor, the ashes of the bodies were thrown into the ocean.








A warrant has been issued to search the home of Fedris and Styletta for any information concerning the location of the alleged killings and immolation of the bodies. Finidrath had lived with the couple during most of his stay in Vulkwasten and has thus far been uncooperative with any information.





I recommend that we proceed on the side of caution during this investigation. There has been little concrete evidence of any crime, except for the confession and a ransom note. The severed toe, mailed to the Nightvales and attributed to Kira, has since been admonished as evidence to the crime. It has been proven, beyond doubt that Finidrath severed his own toe.

On the 9th of Sun's Dawn, Loredas, at roughly ten-fifteen post-meridiem, a cry for help was heard from behind the tavern. Myself, Marshall Bluepool, being the closest, took cover behind a rock and surveyed the situation, sending any other responders to the other side of the tavern. A merchant, Bosmer, was holding a blade to the throat of a citizen, threatening to kill her should the treethane not speak with him.

After a few moments of trying to talk him down, I, Marshall Bluebrook, fired my crossbow, the bolt of which embedded itself into the offender's shoulder, giving the responders the window to restrain the mer and pull the hostage from danger. Once properly subdued, he was taken to the cells and questioned by myself and Private Keshazirr. Questioning revealed he was responsible for the previous murders, as a sort of revenge for the poisoned goods he received and sold. The offender was left in the cells for future sentencing.

Addendum: The offender was found dead by his own hand in the cells, having used a concealed knife. The remains were collected and disposed of promptly.

Lady Nightwind,


Finidrath is a murderer. There is no doubt in my mind that he killed his mother. The evidence against him is overwhelming and his execution was justified.

But, there is no proof he killed Kira and/or Find.

Upon detailed inspection of the alleged immolation scene, no solid evidence has been found to determine the Bosmer remains were that of Kira or Find. The only sound evidence linking them to the location was the discovery of Kira's brass ring, that she used to tie her hair in a bun. We can only assume the remains belonged to Kira and Find but cannot prove it.

I am cautiously optimistic that the Bosmer remains we in fact planted there, at the scene of immolation, to imply foul play. Many inconsistent factors excluding foul play include:

-No large bone or tissue samples located. Only bone fragments and teeth.
-No indication of any clothing samples.
-No blood in the immediate or surrounding area.


According to Finidrath's confession he had tortured the victims and indicated he had set their bodies ablaze while still living. There is no evidence of this or struggle.

I theorize that, at the least, Finidrath and Kira were in the vicinity of the alleged immolation scene. And Kira either lost or planted her brass ring, or Finidrath planted it there after scorching it. We can only assume Find has accompanied Kira for the entire duration of these events.

WIth your permission, I will ask the new tavern cook, Ran'dall to assist me in this investigation. Though it is unorthodox, I believe Ran'dall has keen insight into acquiring the necessary details we may have missed. As a bonus, the Mer knows how to prepare a delightful mammoth face.

I reiterate, Finidrath was indeed guilty of murder but we must not ignore the evidence that he may have had nothing to do with Kira or Find's alleged disappearance and/or murder.

Octato Direnni was arrested for repeated instances of racial harassment against Thorn Con, as well as resisting arrest.
Octato called Thorn an 'it' and a 'beast' several times and was warned to stop under threat of arrest, however, he disregarded these warnings and continued. Whenever arrest was initiated, he repeatedly either refused, mocked or ignored orders to surrender. I, Marshall Bluebrook, was forced to subdue him, first with a strike to the abdominal region, a feint-and-sweep, landing him on one knee, and a final sweep to land him on the ground, after which he split his lip. He was cuffed and, after several warnings to desist talking to the patrons, escorted to the cells.

Halfway to the cells, Direnni tripped over a stone and struck his head, rendering him unconscious. He was carried the rest of the way to the cell.

I would like to thank you for the aid you provided a few nights back. With my shoulder in working order, I have proceeded to work on my recent interest in the guard. I am happy to say that I have already provided aid to the guard, but I would not like to ramble on myself throughout the entirety of this letter. Unfortunately, I think that is what I will ultimately end up doing. If you have time for a little story, please keep this letter around and read it as you may.

I was originally a thief. I have told everybody this, but I do not recall telling you. To make the long story short, I ceased my ways of petty burglary after I arrived here. While my profession primarily consisted of stealing from lackminded noblemen, (I refused to steal from the poor, or the clean-hearted), I had been offered a little contract here. Upon my arrival, I immediately fell in love with this tiny town. I never went through with that contract, and never stole anything from the town. I do not think you recall, but the first night I was here, you were behind the counter of the tavern. Asking me if I wanted anything. I'd have hugged you for your hospitality if I had not been so shy at the time. Instead, I grunted and walked off. I do dearly regret it. So here I stand, in attempts to make amends on something you likely do not even recall.

Offense Summary

Upon patrol of the tavern, an anonymous Khajiit of slender build rushed into the room and proceeded to collapse at the doorway. After brief inquiry, the suspect began to lash out with unusual behavior and violence. Resisting any sort of arrest, the suspect began to attack anybody nearby, including myself, Alena, and Melane. The suspect would show considerable proficiency with vampiric ability; due to this and further observation of the carrion, it can be confirmed that the suspect was suffering from vampirism.

In retaliation to the attack, Melane proceeded to attack and kill the suspect after being bitten. Despite this, K'y Anrual assures that she will not turn, due to the bloodline of the creature. Upon further observation, it could be noted that the body suffered from vampirism. After setting Melane's wound and observing the scene, the scattered blood was cleaned by Grimlock Shadowscae. The body has been decapitated, contained, and burned by myself, Kashya Vulano. Melane is currently being watched by Alena and K'y to confirm her lack of infection.

Additional Thoughts/ Comments

Caution should be taken to make sure something such as this does not occur again. The townspeople have reacted with considerable disapproval.

Tests to be conducted by Investigator K'y, until such time that determinations are made. Pending further results the subject may face banishment up to penalty of death.




Telvanni refused to cooperate once he was detained and attempted to recant his claims of using necromancy, and steadfastly states there is no proof of him being a vampire.

Yet another watcher killing. This would be three, victim is missing one ear, one kidney, one liver. Typical symmetric cuts on the torso. Victim Is a Female Breton Age 20-25, Average height of her race. (Magisters height) Blond hair Yellowish golden eyes. A fishing knife was the weapon used this time. Multiple stab wounds, and a single well placed stab wound to the base of the skull, paralyzing the victim is my assumption, COD is exsanguination yet again this time by stabbing into the lungs causing massive internal bleeding. I request a full autopsy to be done by resident Healer Alijham. The body is currently frozen in the clinic to preserve it. Lassixia Calitinius was the first person to spot the body, which makes her an offhand suspect/potential Lead. The watcher has Strayed from their norms. I did not find a piece of colored cloth anywhere on the scene. Chasiana Everlove and Sevros Dres the Second are the only others to have seen the body. They were of help in moving the frozen body back to the clinic to await the autopsy. I froze the body to be clear, it was not found frozen.




Possible witnesses includes the two prisoners in the cells at the time the body was dumped. At this time Neither has said a word on the crime. Miss Calitinius was the one to discover the body and when she did she states "I came to get a guard as soon as possible."


Pending further investigation.




With three killings this has become serial. Any further reports of any murders should include victim descriptions no matter how well known. A higher standard must be held. Third victim of all female, each of a different race so far. I believe we are looking at a sick completionist. That is to say, they will kill one of each race. So far each have been female further indicating their patterns are possibly drawn from a disturbed sexual repression or desire. The Watcher is experimenting, which means we may see more killings in the very near future.

As several civilians attempted to enjoy their evening in the taven, the suspect approached and began to act heedlessly as he jumped onto the front counter of the tavern. Upon doing so, the suspect proceeded to spontaneously dance on the counter and spill the customers' drinks. Upon inquiry, the Khajiit blatantly responded by saying that he was a "dancer" of his chief deity, Stendarr, and proceeded to insult me by calling me a Nord.

Upon attempt for arrest, the Khajiit pulled a bucket and dumped water on myself before darting out of the tavern, where a chase commenced.

After stating his arrest, the Khajiit ran from arrest. Despite this, he was captured and detained in the local cells for further investigation.




It is recommended that this Khajiit be mentally evaluated again. His actions have caused repeated uproar and has repetitively managed to slip out of the tavern before an arrest has been made. He is being kept in the cell until a conclusive decision is made.

Once entering the tavern, two newcomers appeared, in which they were searching for a specific someone. A local citizen, Ja'hann, was their target, and claimed to have wanted a friendly talk. Several citizens joined this one as he went out to supervise. The two criminals, claiming to be Thalmor officers, we're spoken to by Ja'hann, and this one, in which they started suspicions among us... No Orsimer would be in the ranks of the Thalmor (This one says this in the /least/ racist way possible...) nor would a Thalmor not care to even hint why they wanted to take Ja'hann away... Upon forcing them to speak, they had broken out of their lies, and immediately went into combat. First, the womer attacked this one, but quickly went to a witness, Chasianna in attempt to kill her. Luckily, the Orsimer associate involved in the crime was killed by Ja'hann in time for the other to be stricken down. Afterwards this one searched the bodies and disposed of them magically, and informed the group of citizens that saw to keep it low-key.

The two were supposed to be either banished from the town, however, attempted murder can lead to one's self defense... Additionally, it would seem that impersonating an official of the Dominion would end them up into an illegal state otherwise. No legal identifications were recovered, and the uniforms were either outdated, or poorly made by themselves. No official proof otherwise authorized them as officials, which made them, safe to say, not Thalmor. (At least he hopes, however the Orsimer may assure that they were not actually Thalmor. Again, not to be taken in any racial offense...) Ja'hann will additionally be questioned, just to assure that he was not actually involved in any other illegal activities.




If a guardpost could be set near the outer areas of town, especially near the road, problems like these could be solved more efficiently, and hopefully not lead up to killing good sources of information.

After hearing a call for help, a body was discovered who has been noted as a town guard. The corpse shows little sign of struggle; aside from a brisk strike to the side of the head that severed the eye and crushed the skull in a localized area, there is little other sign of immediate retaliation. Ja'hann was discovered holding the corpse, but immediately complied to request in dropping the body for examination. This brief examination of the body was held on-site, where the victim was ultimately deemed dead at the scene; no pulse remained, and evident collapse of the cranial cavity was present. The corpse was then taken to the clinic for further observation.

The suspect known as Alena Nightwind had supposedly rushed into town while transformed through her gift affliction of lycanthropy. Detained by the local community, she was then put away into the local cells while punishment awaited her. Alena failed to do considerable damage, or harm, to the town or any of its residents, due to the rapid detainment.






With little witness account, the suspect known as Alena Nightwind was directly questioned in place of a witness.

"Some halfwit hunter decided it would be [just great] to cash in on my bounty. [He] thought the best way to do that would be with a [ton] of wolvesbane."

"When I ran, my only chance for help was here in Vulkwasten. Unfortunately, by the time I made it here, I was too far gone. I didn't want to hurt anybody."

Action Taken

After being detained and thoroughly questioned, Alena was sentenced to one week of imprisonment for her crime, despite this being her second offence. Likewise, she will be mandated to wear a silver collar for at least one (1) week, albeit this time may be extended to two (2) weeks if it is felt to be required.

Additional Thoughts/ Comments

I have designated this punishment for a relatively short time due to the fact that there was no intent for harm within her reasoning. While this is a quite null point, I have expressed to Alena that one more transformation within town will lead to her banishment, without potential to appeal her crime.

Upon traversing to the cells in order to question Alena Nightwind, the body of a deceased guard was found outside of the cells; the body, drained of blood, was quite evidently punctured by that of a vampire. Little else is known following the attack, albeit the mer known as Donvyn was later granted consent to perform an autopsy on the cadaver.

During a friendly archery competition last Morndas, the criminal known as Dar'Kesdargo attempted to pickpocket from the satchel of the mage known as Chasianna. Little to his knowledge, the mage had warded her satchel. After a thorough shock from the satchel, the Khajiit fell off the ramp, only to then be hit by a paralysis spell from Chasianna. After being hog-tied with a piece of rope, Kashya dragged the Khajiit back up the ramp, where she would resume the archery competition until the arrival of Varilora. Upon this arrival, Varilora would haul the Khajiit back to the cells, where he would be thoroughly detained.

Imperial was found ritualistically cutting animals, and gathering organs and poisons. Some sort of disease. Something about a blighted god coming back, none of it made sense. The man had a small gathering of cultists upon time of arrest. They were killed in defense of the Imperial. He was spitting bile on people. Bhidul and Varilora were hit by it, but cleansed by Chasianna, and Leilanath.



So far, none have made reports.


The man was locked up after being knocked out by Bethany. Currently under watch by the guard, and a ward placed by Bethany. Mages guild have been given a temporary key to the cell, so they can access him and do tests.



This man should be given over to the Dominion for his crimes, they are far beyond this town.

Sebastion grey was murdered outside of town. Sigmund claimed self defense due to the fact he was attacked by Sebastian.

Order of Events: Sebastian and Sigmund 'strode'/rode outside of town to speak as always, however, Sebastian was not himself for a couple of days. There was a bit of fear and dread in Sebastian's voice according to Sigmund. According to Sigmund he acted cautious and sentimental. During their stroll, Sebastian drew his blade and attacked. Sigmund tried to disable Sebastian but was unable too. Sebastian was shot in the chest and was brought to the tavern where efforts to save him failed and he died of his wounds.

Sigmund was questioned and released due to the fact the murder was self defense and occurred out side of town.




According to Sigmund, Sebastian was working on something called Mora and may have gotten possessed in the process or influenced. Sigmund took Sebastian's body and had it interred into a crypt. Locked in jail, stripped of all possession minus armor. Being watched over by Varilora, on account of an escape attempt.


The Breton was found waving around an axe in the tavern, shouting about all sorts of nonesense, something about Reach, and something about how I am just a stinky Nord. After being subdued, she attempted to escape. A quick headbutt was delivered, which didn't help. The lady pulled and axe and tried to cut me open, lucking she isn't quick. After a bit of a tussle, she was knocked out, cuffed, and taken to the cell. She proceeded to play dead, and then tried to break out when I was about to leave. Luckily she's also clumsy. Not much was got out of her, but she then tried to hide, in a barren cell.




Latharia, and Ma'azha should be questioned at some point. I can not move from my post to do so.


Restrained to the cell. On account of trying to skewer me, further punishment should be given. She claims to not be alone, a search may be in order.




Let's hurry this up. It's really tempting to kill her. Perhaps a relief guard would be nice, though a higher up. Thorn if you're reading this, get your scaly butt over to the cell so I can sleep!

After receiving a prank by Grim with a trapped picnic basket, Sigmund went outside with swords drawn and slashed his swords against the outside walls of the tavern.







This one is not sure whether the Green Pact will come into play or not. It will be up to the Marshals and the Treethane if more action is required. Sigmund was fully aware of what he was doing and felt like he was above the law and that it didn't apply to him.




Sigmund made no intentions of pressing charges and the prank did not cause harm and this one feels a charge towards Grim isn't necessary due to the fact a pie to the face isn't assault.

I am looking into this still, waited on report in case I found werewolf sooner. Werewolf is nowhere to be seen. Report made mainly to be caution to guards.


Look out for khajiit with black fur who says crazy things a lot. Sounds familiar to khajiit who also made crazy talks about some god or Daedric Prince that we had to arrest before.

Criminal murdered guards and fled. Reason for doing so seemed random. Criminal ran from town doing many things that seemed not natural like jumping off cliffs and dodging many arrows. Ran near Tanglehaven and jumped in water. I chased with some others (who also were somehow able to jump off cliffs without getting hurt). Criminal used many potions on me in water that burned me and made me choke. At this point I had blacked out as other citizens had to pull me from the water. The criminal got away.

After subdoing Guk, he was interrogated and then executed instead of being brought to the Thalmore due to his crimes and to make it a mercy kill. The building he was in was burned down as well due to the necromantic rituals within the building.



During the process of interrogation, it was discovered that he was owned by a slaver possibly named Mythmeihnodrin. If there is a slaver hanging around it should be looked into.

Vhiera was harassing Do'Maadrul about his personal sex life, and refused to leave him alone after being asked to stop. Even after this one told her several times to leave him alone, she persisted in her harassment and to make her point. Afterwords argued about the law and such with this one after Maadrul had already left. Shavari finally got through to her, and let her off on warning that she will be charged if she harasses Maadrul again.




Sarri Swiftsong was present at the time of this incident.








Vhiera seemed persistent in pushing radical ideas like one should be arrested for lying to sleep with a women, and trying to take authority with those who she deems as womanizers by harassing then till they change their ways. She thinks Vhiera may potentially cause more problems in the future.
As well as Maadrul mentioned this wasn't the first time she has done this too him.

Veshar told him of an incident a couple weeks ago but assured him that there was no issues. He demanded a show of strength to make sure the town was prepared. This one refused however, she can't stop others from fighting him. Due to this one not accepting his aid, he said he was going to inform his superiors to enforce protection on the town. A few people within the tavern agreed to fight him. However, the fight ended up in the center of town. She, along with Kashya and Elros, managed to get the fighters outside of town where they continued to fight.

The victim of the attempted murder is a member of the Sliver Sivlar Silver Dawn, who has come to visit the town after one of their comrades did not return from his trip to our town (Reference previous report by Guard Do'Shavari and previous report by Guard Veshar). After visiting and a bref breef short meeting with me in the guild hall about their plans and their lost comrade, our guest was shot in the back by a poisoned bolt. The Silver Dog Fawn Dawn member survived, but the shooter had run before we could see them.

Ja'Han is suspected for the crime for a few reasons. Do'Shavari had pointed out that only a few people in the town seem to know how to work a crossbow, and listed him as one of them. Upon checking the clinic--in which he was believed to be as he was supposedly recovering from bad injuries--he was not to be found and has no reason to be gone (his wife is also in the clinic from injuries). To my noledge knowledge, he was also at the duel, which could give further reasons for his actions if I am right about this (I may not be, but otherwise where did he get hurt from?). With this all in mind, he is currently our prime suspect for this case. If this is proven otherwise, a new report will be made about the next suspect.




Do'Shavari: Accounts to Ja'Han being one of the few crossbow users in town



This report will serve as a warrant for Ja'Han for him to be taken into custody for questonin asking questions. If he admits guilt or we otherwise prove his guilt, an appropriate arrest will be made. He will be held briefly until we can find no proof of his crime.

To any guards that read this, this report serves as a direct order to bring the suspect into custody so that a marshal can question him




If this is indeed all correct and Ja'Han is the one who did this, then it is frustrating and disappointing. He works for the Fighters Guild, and has fired upon a fellow hunter. Also, many citizens of the town have been acting poorly to the Silver Doawn people here, for no reason other than who they are. It is distasteful and disrespectful, and more so since their visit was instigated by the town people's (specifically Kashya's) actions. Should they continue to harass our guests, while those guests have done nothing to deserve it, they will start to be held accountable for harassment charges.

Two strangers, soon followed by a third, came in and began spewing nonsense. During their jester act, they gave Lydia a note. The note indicates that they have Thorn and want to return him to us. This leaves this one to believe that Thorn could have been kidnapped, however, judging by the note, their actions and the fact its Thorn, this one suspects that their could be a third party involved.

According to the bartender and a few witnesses, the offender caused trouble within the tavern. He had spread blood on the ramp, left a mess on the counter and floor, and was reported to have stripped to the nude and "profaned" the basin that is normally on the counter. During this time, he also apparently almost started a fight with a visitor to the town.




Lucia Hlaalu approached this one to file the report, giving information about the damages to the tavern.
Ja'han Everlove indicated the offender's nudity.
Lydia Bloodcurdler informed this one of the almost fight.


No action could be taken because Nira arrived on scene after the offender was gone. She is drafting this as a warrant for his arrest so that he may serve his combined six days of jail time, be fined 500 gold, and pay for any damages he caused.

A mer by the name of Ganan was being overly cocky and verbally annoying. He vandalized tavern property before Lydia tried to attack him, managing to land two good hits in while the mer did not fight back. The mer tried to play it off as a game, but Lydia continued to try and attack him until the second hit seemed to calm her down. She exhibited signs that she was close to a lycanthropic transformation, but it did not get that fair. She accepted her arrest and punishment calmly and with dignity.




No witness accounts were taken at the time, but the scene was observed by Sarri Swiftsong, Ty Al'Bashir, and Lucia Hlaalu. Ty was an observer, while Lucia and Sarri actively tried to stop Lydia from assaulting.


After this one had given ample warning for any attempted attacks to stop, Lydia did not comply until after she had struck the mer in question twice. Nira had no choice but to arrest her for assault. She was escorted down to the cells, relieved of all weapons, armor, and other items, and fitted with a silver collar. She is to remain in jail for three days, and in lieu of paying the fine to the one she attacked Nira is placing her on a week's probation wearing a silver collar. The fine is being waived because the victim in this case was also an offender. (See Report 00-00-50)




Nira never likes having to arrest someone she has a good working relationship with. Lydia accepted her punishment with dignity though.

The mer in question carved his name into the leather covering of a table in the bar, effectively vandalizing the property. When he was informed that he was being placed under arrest for vandalism, he attempted to flee. When Do'Shavari gave chase, he pulled a knife on her. She was unharmed, but when she headbutted the mer to subdue him, he stumbled back and fell off the cliff, breaking his legs. Healing was administered on scene before he was taken to the cells.




No witness accounts could be taken at the time, but the vandalism was observed by Lucia Hlaalu and Sarri Swiftsong. Lucia and Elros Delodil were witness to the mer's healing at the bottom of the cliff, and Elros assisted in the chase and most likely saw the dagger that was pulled.


When the mer attempted to flee, Nira gave Do'Shavari the order to detain him. When he ran, Shavari and Elros gave chase with the intent of subduing him. After the events leading to the mer's injuries listed above, he was placed in a jail cell. Since he pulled a dagger on a guard and attempted to flee, his overnight jail time punishment was increased to two day's jail time. In lieu of the injuries he sustained in his capture, the 2000 gold fee that he had accrued for the vandalism, attempting to assault a guard, and fleeing justice is being reduced to 1,500 gold.




The mer is a rather interesting character, having been trying to avoid Lydia's arrest as detailed in the previous report. However, he became rather indignant when he was arrested and now demands to speak to Marshal Thorn about Do'Shavari's conduct in his arrest. He stated that he would not talk to this one because of how "unprofessional" she was acting. She will defer to the Marshal's judgement and takes full responsibility for any outcome.

The victim, the Argonian Shen the Shaman, was conversing with this one and Sarri on the way to the tavern when the unknown vampire pounced from the tall grass and attacked him, biting him on the neck and knocking him down. Nira wounded the vampire and was about to make the arrest when she turned into mist and vanished into the shadows of the trees.




No quotes at this time, but Shen the Shaman and Sarri Swiftsong were witness to the crime.


The vampire was attacked and an arrest attempted, but when she turned into mist she fled into the shadow of the trees and was unable to be tracked. Shen appears to be all right, having healed himself and taken a potion of cure disease to prevent himself from turning. Stated that he remembered more of his past afterwards. Attacker remains at large.




Nira hates supernaturals who think they are better than anyone else just because they have power. This incident strikes a personal chord with her, and she will keep an eye out for this criminal in the future.

Salden, known Dadric Minion, set foot in the tavern, warning the town of the return of Avella. Upon his exit he encountered the Bosmer barmaid, Lulie Leaf-lake. Admiring her horns (self-proclaimed antlers), Salden tore said horns out of Lulie's head, causing massive trauma and blood loss.

Sings, the local bard administered medical attention to Lulie. She expects a full recovery. However, due to the horns being pulled out by the root along with part of her skull, there will be some scarring.



Grogeosh the Drunken - "It just ripped those horns right out her purty li'l head and done stuck dem on his..Think I'll be findin' a new place for my libations"

There was that grand "tournament" thing that most of the town took part in, yes? Lydia was taken captive after those ended by a necromancer. The small wood elf (I think) that got everyone involved in the tournament, who I also never cared to learn the name of, was the one who warned us about it. Following the wood elf's direction to S'ren-ja, we found the Necromancer. Things happened that I can tell you about in detail if you care to know.



This matters not.




After finding the necromancer, he obviously thought trying to fight us with skeletons. He was pathetic in thinking this would work. I let the rest tend to those, while I took care of the necromancer personally. Eventually this ordeal ended with me getting the necromancer alone, hitting him with a candle and kicking him out of a window. Lydia killed him with my mace by introducing it to his face swiftly afterward.

Lydia then came home. I ensured everyone that went on this trip came home too, because this is apparently a problem now, where our people may vanish if they are not corralled back into town all at once. Like a stray goat from a herd.




Considering that this is now I think the third time in recent history this has happened, I think we need to consider some sort of system to ensure everyone that goes on these little trips out of town comes back home when the time comes. Either that or we do not treat our people like children, and officially state that if they are willing to not come home with the rest of the townsfolk, then they are responsible for their own safety.

Also, can we not just jump into participating in every random "thing" that people we have never met present when they just show up in town with these sort of "things"? It seems that nearly every time a random stranger presenting gifts, things to sell, or events of some nature comes into town we ultimately regret it or something bad happens.

I think people need to start coming to you or me before we let them just do whatever they want in Vulkwasten, Treethane. This is why I wrote this report. To bring this problem to your attention.

Lucia came into the guard office at around 2 in the afternoon carrying a bag. The contents of the bag contained Lulie's horns. Upon questioning, Lucia said they were given to her by Salden. When asked if there was any particular reason as to why Salden gave her the horns, Lucia said she figured it was because she worked at the tavern.








Veshar retrieved the evidence and placed it in the correct evidence locker and sent Lucia on her way.




Veshar honestly has no idea what to think of this and what do we do with Lulie's horns due to nothing being mentioned in the books? Do we.....do we bury it, poke it with a stick or return it to Lulie? Thorn, Veshar needs your wisdom please.

Thanks to me source I was able to locate the whereabouts of that chef fella, Randale..Ran'dull...something like that. I put together a team to search the area of Southpoint in Grahtwood. The team consisted of your husband, some Argonian bard, that weird Falen boy, master Bhidul, a wisecracking turban wearing bosmer and a few others that I had forgotten..I think someone named Shjen wos wit us as well.
With our combined minds we were able ta locate Ran'dall on the shore of a beach, east of Southpoint.

He wos in pretty bad shape. Fortunately, Alijham wos there ta tend to his wounds. Gods Elsy..im still jealous of ya fer marryin' him. You're both lucky mers. you didn't write that part about Ali, did you Kraytune?

Meanwhile, I stayed with Ran'dall in Southpoint to make sure he didn't croak overnight. I could tell he would be alright after the crude comments he made towards me. In the morning he was in a good enough condition to leave for Vulkwasten. We stopped in Elden Root where I 'bought' him some new clothes..at least they looked better on him than the other guy.

We eventually made it to Vulkwasten where we parted ways. I assume he headed strait to the tavern to see Loolie. They're probably having fun dipping their wicks. Of course, the most important thing is that our head chef is back...and I'm starving.

A thug was at the scene attacking Falen, but after Falen got a strike Alijham, Elros, and Lulie intervened. Shavari came late to the scene after being alerted of it by Chasianna, and helped as Alijham patched up a cut Falen had made on the thug's gut with a sword. Kashya repeatedly encouraged Falen to murder the prisoner after shouting of him being the one to take out the cubs eye. Eventually Kashya drew her weapon and threatened to kill the thug herself, but Shavari stepped froward with her weapon in defense, and received a threat in response. Elros took the sword Falen had been using, but just as were going to the clinic Kashya tossed her club to Falen who used it to bash in the prisoner's head. As Shavari tried to subdue Falen for the murder, she was attacked by Kashya, if it was not for Elros Falen might of slipped away. In the process of arresting Kashya she manged to hit Alijham's bad eye with a rock.

Shavari has a firm belief Kashya is a danger to the town. This is not the first time she has done something rash like this in the past months, just the first time in town boundaries.

As a hostage, Guard Nightvale subdued the offender and eventually killed him by kicking the back of his head and implanting his jaw on to the edge of a tavern table, thus causing massive head trauma and death.



Krimie Nightvale would like to further investigate the matter in connection with the disappearance of Ran'dall.

After what seemed to be a petty dispute turned violent, Aeliester proceeded to punch Tarethis in the nose after Tarethis spit in his face. As Tarethis proceeded to exchange the action with a backhand to Aeliester, someone screamed, which warranted the attention of myself to the upper floor.

The two were shackled and carried to the nearby cell without resistance. While the two have been sentenced for assault, the crime was mutually committed in a consensual manner. Additionally, Aeliester is providing his aid, tomorrow, to help the Fighters Guild hunt and eradicate any nearby lycanthropes. In a normal scenario, the assaulter would give the assaulted a thousand Drakes, and serve his sentence in jail time. Since they were both committed, however, they would practically be exchanging Drakes. Additionally, given Aeliester's willingness to selflessly serve the community, I have decided that it be appropriate to serve them to an overnight jail sentence, with no additional repercussion. Action will be taken, should these two fight within the boundaries of town once more. Any additional sentencing following Aeliester's release to serve may be decided upon by the Marshal.

As the local Magister returned to the Mages' Guild, she soon found that over 2,000 Drakes worth of supplies had been stolen.

In the evening of Morndas the 2nd of Mid Year, it was brought to the guardsmen, I, Fedris Timberscrub and Thelin Dividicus's attention that a note of great concern had been placed on the Village notice board. Contents of said note warned the village that the water supply had been, has been compromised with a harmful substance. Most of the village was present and remained calm, all were advised not to drink the water until the claim could be investigated.

Interestingly, the note also gave the supposed recipe for a remedy to cure the contamination. Villagers were sent out to gather reagents while one of the Mages Guild mages Heals-With-Blades tested a sample of the water supply. He confirmed the accuracy of the note's claim, the village water supply appears contaminated. The nature of this contamination should be further discussed with the mage.

Initiate guardsmen Thelin Dividicus is currently in possession of the note in question.

I do not quite know how to start this letter off. Likely due to the fact that I am speaking to a dead man. I hope you are not. To my great misfortune, Terath 'broke the news' to me. I did not receive much time to mourn before yet another murder occurred. Work is work, I suppose.

There are so many things I wish I could have told you. My singular regret is not confessing these statements to you, for I feared that you would brush me off with the same, sarcastic tone you brushed everyone else off with. Although you did not act that way with me all too often, it is partially the reason I plastered you at Wren's party. Otherwise, it was mostly an accident.

I wish I could have helped you uncover your past. Nobody deserves to have their life extinguished like a candle, without even learning of where their origin is from. You made me bitter, at times. And while I might regard your attitude, oftentimes, as..."Apathetic," it does not exempt the sympathy I have for you.

I once confessed my fondness for you around the time we first met. A few weeks following my arrival into town. It was after you were stabbed in the leg, and that Khajiiti sewed you up. The body of a vampire was found against the square's tree. It had been decapitated. It's pale demeanor called for inspection, so I lifted the creature's lip to check for fangs, thus determining its nature. So far as I'm aware, no one was bitten.



Varella Stormhawke stated she had killed the vampire.



After consideration, I moved the body to the clinic. It is currently located to the right after climbing the ladder, beyond the supply table. I could not identify the body to be certain that it was not a local and thus did not want to burn it before confirmation could be made. Upon asking the witness (Varella Stormhawke), she likewise could not confirm.



I had debated over writing a report regarding this incident as no arrests were made and the incident seemed fairly clean-cut, though I feel I must express my concerns regarding Varella Stormhawke. I am unsure where the vampire came from and had not thought much of it until further discussion with Varella, thereafter. I would have liked to ask more questions, but she had left before I'd fully considered the situation.

She approached me inquiring as to whether or not the kill would speed up the process of her being accepted into the guard. From the way she spoke, I suspect she may have brought the vampire into town to make a statement of her ability. While that ability may be present - I have not witnessed it myself, though I do not have strong doubts on the matter - I'm wary of such behavior, should my suspicions prove true.

I cannot and will not interfere with your decision on the matter, though I do request that this be formally looked into. I, of course, offer my services in this respect, though fully understand if you would prefer another guard (especially one more experienced than myself) to investigate.

Estre Ohtarona - altmer, female, lacking a few inches on myself, fair hair - approached me, this morning, to inform me that one of our own had been attacked. She'd healed through his wounds and found that he'd been attacked by a werewolf just to the east of Vulkswasten. Upon being asked, she explained that he had not - so far as she was aware - taken a cure potion. Attack aside, this leaves him at risk for losing himself to the curse in town. Until he is found, cured, and tested, he's a potential threat, though I see no current reason to arrest him. I will inform you once I'm certain the case has been handled.



Estre's recount of his injuries - "Three broken ribs. He was coughing up blood, so I can only presume internal bleeding. I believe it was from the fracture pressing against his organs, but fortunately the damage was nothing I couldn't fix. The patient also had various scratches on his torso, though none were very deep."



As Estre is an alchemist, I had her make four cure potions and took two for myself. I instructed her to - should she see Annor before I do - offer the youth one of them and be certain he consumes it. Lucia Hlaalu arrived at the Guard Training event to announce that there had been a theft in the tavern. I headed down with the intent of making an arrest. I spoke with the argonian whom had been pointed out by Cirlin Duskrock and approached the suspect. He was crouched on the left counter before several other patrons and did not appear to be aggressive. I asked him to step down from the counter; he agreed to do so, after explaining to me that he'd been threatened with acid. I was unable to gather further details from him as he fled quickly thereafter, leaving no signs behind as to which direction he'd taken off. This suspect may still be in Vulkswasten. It was expressed to me that the argonian had stolen a coin purse (victim unknown, described only as having braided hair) and had threatened to bite the tongue of Hemlock Llervu.



Hemlock Llervu's recount - He'd overheard the victim of the theft cry out. 'I asked for the barkeep to go fetch [a guard], and I merely stalled by telling one of the two to step back as I would not want acid splashed on anyone.' He explained that he is a detective and he carries the acid as a solvent for chemicals he uses to solve cases. He expressed that he only made the statement about the acid as a means of stalling the suspect. 'The argonian on the counter threatened to bite my tongue off.'

Lucia Hlaalu's recount: 'I didn't witness much. As soon as I walked [into the tavern], I was told to get a guard due to a thief. I didn't even know who the thieves were until after.' [No other thieves had been pointed out beyond this statement.] Lucia is a bartender at the tavern.

Cirlin Duskrock's recount: 'His tongue. It was the argonian I showed you. He threatened to bite the dunmer's tongue. The argonian guy called the dunmer guy a soft-flesh.' Upon confirmation, the dunmer in question was Hemlock Llervu. In regards to the theft - 'I didn't see it, but I heard it. I was outside. I heard a lady ask for her coins back. When she peeked inside, that's when I heard the argonian threaten to bite out the other's tongue.'



I feel that I am unable to properly charge the unknown argonian with theft without a victim's claim. Thus, I am letting this charge pend until the victim comes forth with a statement so that she may receive proper recompense.

Laced my drink with it, on Auridon. I never got her name. I ran. I kept running. I ran here. You can't just run from skooma, though.' When asked how she usually obtained it: 'I found khajiit. Always khajiit. They always asked if I was a guard. It's hard to convince them you're not.'

I feel that banishment is extreme in this case, as it stands, though that is certainly a notion that could change over the course of the week depending on her behavior. I'd noticed someone pin something to the board in Vulkswasten. I hadn't seen him approach, nor was I able to get a good look at him before he vanished. He wore black and red leather armor. Upon investigation, I'd noticed the note (included with this report) bearing a black hand-print at the bottom. The note reads:


Shortly thereafter, I was approached by Wren's senche, 'Bugs'. The beast had a note in its mouth (dried and included with this report). The note reads:


I arrived at the scene with Estre Otharona. I caught her along the way and requested that she join me.

Preliminary Investigation -
- many stab wounds to her back
- one boot missing, ankle swollen, starting to bruise
- thin cut across the back of her neck
- deep stab wound between her ribs on her side
- face in the dirt

Upon Carefully Flipping Her -

Investigation of the Area -

Wren's Investigation -
- suspects the victim had been kneeling in the fern
- second set of footprints likely belonged to a man or mer; second set larger than the victim's
- victim was picking flowers, grabbed the fern, but didn't seem to be picking the latter

- wren doubts the assailant was much stronger than the victim or he could have overpowered her easily
- attacker went back to the road and headed toward town

I offered Wren the note from the board (bearing the black hand print) with hopes that her senche could track it. Upon looking it over, Wren noted: 'This isn't Brotherhood work, this is a wannabe.' There wasn't enough scent present to track.

Estre noted that the flowers the victim picked were likely for decoration.

'Cimber', Wren, and Estre present - none recognized her. Timing considered, the victim is thought to be 'Tolvara Saryel'.

No arrests were able to be made. The scene was investigated as thoroughly as possible with the best in their respective fields I had on hand. I highly suspect 'Cimber' - noted below - could be involved in the crime. The man appeared strong, discounting him from the note regarding 'overpowering' the victim, though such things could easily be feigned. There are currently no other suspects.



Aside from the notes regarding the investigation, there are no known witnesses. However, it had been brought to my attention with the return of Wren with Cimber (to carry the body back to town) that Cimber had noticed the body and returned to town looking for someone to alert. Considering the short length of time between the note's pin to the board and Wren's senche's arrival, this is high suspicious. He also commented that the death appeared to've been brought on by an animal attack, though our investigation highly suggests otherwise. Cimber appears to be of human descent with brown hair, light-colored skin, and a strong build. He wore red clothing, at the time. As of right now, he is on the suspect list. I did not get a chance to speak with him, thereafter, though he appears to be close with Wren.

Upon entering the tavern, I happened to notice Terrance holding a rug with a body hanging out of it. When I confronted Terrance, he ran up the ramp, in which I was then provoked to chase after him. He was holding a bloody body in a rug, of course, and attempted to flee. Anybody would chase him.

I ultimately caught him in the clinic and tackled him, bringing both him and the body to the ground, but was immediately told by an Altmer in the clinic that he did not kill the victim. I ceased attempting to detain him, and the bodies were set for autopsy by Alijham. The woman was recognized as the Nordic girl, Fionna, who had applied for the Guard a few nights before. I assume this was her dog. Various markings were scribbled across her face; I did not investigate further. Alijham is currently holding the bodies in question. Further autopsy revealed that the woman had been stitched back together at the torso; her organs had been stolen from her. One eye, and one ear, were among some of the missing body parts. I recall someone saying "EAT" had been written on the rug, which might suggest that her parts were stolen for consumption. "PRAY" was, likewise, written on her face. Alijham is currently going to put the body on ice before resuming his autopsy; any request to view the body further may be requested through him directly.

Inquiry later revealed that the bodies had been simply dropped and left in the tavern, by what I think was a Bosmer girl and a scamp. I was not present at the time, and witness accounts proved to be hazy. Further questioning is necessary.


"He didn't kill that body. It was a Bosmer. She brought them both in wrapped in rugs. And a scamp."

An autopsy has been performed. The bodies are currently being held by Alijham, who has them on ice.
The current offender is unknown.




This may correlate with a murder that occurred several weeks back, in which a man was brought to the tavern decimated in a bag by a skeleton which had immediately disintegrated upon dropping it. The activity was acknowledged, however not recorded. I only say this due to the spontaneity of it; I will be able to expand upon that theory if I can figure out what the status is of the woman who dropped the body.

When it was suggested they should present themselves to a guard for a silver test, they fled the tavern. Seeing as they had already fled, not much action could be taken. Also we were all tired. Witness report was heard by Wren Nightdale, Kashya Vulano and Seriduril (???). No other witnesses were questioned. Nyraela described the Argonian as having 'starkly white scales like the dead' and that when silver was mentioned they 'got extremely nervous and fled.' None. Possibly silver-test the Argonian if spotted. I feel like these are supposed to be more useful. Did I do this right?

Offender's status: Currently in a cell with his wolf. Offender was in the tavern, allegedly began eating glass. Ceased to leave Adsomar's dog alone, even when told to by Adsomar, causing it to growl and snap. When confronted offender was loud, verbally threatened a guard and resisted arrest. When asked to pay for the damaged property, he pulled out some coins, chewed on them and spat them out forcefully onto the ground. During the arrest, he assaulted Gilyn and broke a pair of guards shackles. N/A - crime witnessed by guards. After much discussion, it was decided that any attempt at punishment or arrest could potentially be too dangerous. However, because of his limited intelligence, the consensus was to show mercy and attempt to educate him on town laws to ensure no further assault or law breaking takes place. He is currently in a cell, talking to Kashya and Reliza in an attempt to explain things to him. There will likely be an attempt to find employment that keeps him occupied and limits the danger he is to other people. The assault on Gilyn, performed by Perun, occurred on Sun's Height 24 in the afternoon in a separate but related incident. - Major Seriduril

Wren found the accused, Lucia and a Khajiit called Ja’hann (Dark fur, long mane, leather armour, braided beard) in the new guards hall, though they did not know it was used for that purpose. They had the accused tied up on a chair and had knocked her unconscious.

Lucia explained that they heard noises above the tavern, and found the accused in the storage area pilfering the goods. When confronted she became violent and aggressive and tried to throw a spear at them. Lucia and Ja’hann knocked her out, and brought her to the guard hall. (Why? - didn’t spot a guard and wanted to keep her secure somewhere until they found one.)

Ja’hann is not pressing charges for assault.
N/A As there are two people in the only functioning cell already, Ja’hann accepted full responsibility for the future actions of the Altmer, and agreed to pay any future fines. He is taking her out of town, and will attempt to teach her how to be a person. Any future charges will not be overlooked in this manner. Any further crimes should be severely dealt with considering the approach taken.

Upon suspecting that the Khajiit going by Ka'zha was in fact Xithic, Lucia and Wren baited him outside of town by pretending that his fiance had fallen ill. Xithic confronted them outside of town, and an argument ensued. Xithic revealed his identity and issued threats to Wren and eventually Lucia. Keys approached but backed away when instructed to do so and watched from a safe distance, help wasn't called for as the town was mostly empty at the time and it was more likely that non-combatants would approach.

In the fight, Lucia, Arrow (Keys' senche) and Wren got hits on Xithic, he shifted into a lycan and injured Lucia enough to cause concern, then fled. No injuries sustained were life-threatening, even those on Xithic unfortunately. Lucia, Wren and Arrow all took cure-disease potions, Keys did not come into contact and so did not need to take one.

N/A As Lucia and Wren were both injured, they did not pursue. Kashya attempted to follow the trail of blood and damage, but did not find anything. A warning should be placed on the noticeboard, alerting citizens to report his whereabouts if spotted, and to make them aware that he is highly dangerous.

At some point between the days of the 8th and the 10th of Last Seed, an unkown dunmer in red armor with gold trimmings allegedly drugged and abducted one Amaethaera. Amaethaera insists it was a slaver, as she awoke on a boat with others. How she escaped she can't recall, but on the 10th of Last Seed, she ran into the Tavern in messy clothing seeking Quinlan. N/A <The following appendage was penned by Seriduril.> Quinlan Hollier had been present and was not directly involved in the actual arrest. As of the time of this report, Amaethaera is recovering in the clinic and seems to be suffering from memory loss or troubles. Given how little detail the guards have been given, a post has not been placed on the notice board. It is in my opinion that any mention of slavers or abductions be handled with a tight lip until more can be known to avoid panic.

A khajiit called for a guard and directed us toward a werewolf attack. I agreed to acquire the body, but would have liked to've left the werewolf to the Fighters Guild. The body - a friend of the khajiit by the name of Ko'Dar - was found deceased, and the body of the werewolf not far from him. The cause of death for both parties was clear; the werewolf attacked the khajiit leaving grievous wounds, which killed the khajiit after the werewolf had been slain.

The body of the khajiit was taken to the clinic so that those parties close to him could hold a funeral. The werewolf corpse was burned.



I would not have written a report, though it is worth mentioning that one of the involved parties carried skooma in a pot. The skooma was collected and locked in the chest by Gilyn Bels. Someone is still peddling in town.

I happened upon Terath Drethan as I left the tavern; he was carrying Afer Leotus over his shoulder, the latter's face smeared with blood and unconscious. Lucrezia Nightblade accompanied them. I asked what had happened, but I didn't get a response until we were in the clinic. Terath and Afer had fought, and it had not been consensual.

Afer Leotus had been drunk and attacked Lucrezia Nightblade on the 13th. Terath found out and confronted Afer. Afer did not take the confrontation well. Terath ultimately attacked Afer, though Afer's offense wasn't known until after Terath had been arrested.



Terath Drethan - 'I grabbed him, took him down the road to talk because he's shown utter lack of respect and has a drinking problem. He needed to understand that. He refused. He treated my words and threats as idle. He pushed too far, so I hit him, then twice more to knock him out. Then I carried him to the clinic.'

Lucrezia - 'It started yesterday. Afer was drunk and trying to pick a fight with Terath, then got mad and left. So I went looking for Afer. He was drunk and almost fell off a cliff. I had to shove him to get him away from it. We yelled at each other and I shoved him again and told him to 'kick my ass', thinking we'd wrestle or spar like usual, but he tackled me and punched me in the face several times. Terath saw me after and guessed who had hit me. And then he confronted Afer.'

I spoke with Terath inside the cell; I spoke with Lucrezia alone inside the barracks. I asked Lucrezia if she would like to press charges and she agreed.

Wren, via Note left on the desk - 'Ter's cuffed to the cells, I didn't wanna put him in the same cell as Afer or Wraesha & Benny. I left his wolf with him just in case cause this town's crazy. His stuff's in the barracks. Not filing a report cause that's pointless. I'll explain the other shite tonight.'



Terath told me outright that he believed what he did was right, but would likewise accept being jailed, so I arrested him and placed him in the second cell, taking his armor and dagger to place in the barracks. He had no other belongings on him, at the time.

Lucrezia approached and spoke with me in the barracks. The intent was to arrest Afer after he'd healed in the clinic, though he'd made his way down on his own. Kashya arrested him and cuffed him to the side of the cells.

Terath had been allowed to leave his cell with the company of Marshal Kashya Vulano and Major Seriduril for an imperative venture. Afer has since been moved into the cells, and Terath has been shackled to the outside.



I have not made Afer's offenses public as Terath himself hasn't seemed keen to it. I believe Afer should be disallowed to drink in public, let alone buy drink in the tavern, for an undetermined amount of time until he can be trusted to control himself and his intake.

We need more cells.

The perpetrator entered the tavern wearing a hood and mask. She laughed at Terath as she dropped a blood-soaked sack on the counter, from which a heart rolled free. She then fled the scene of the crime, and out of town. 'Senna' attempted to stop the perpetrator, though she was attacked in the process, leaving her legs scorched. We were unable to catch up to her. Her horse had been left behind the tavern, to the right when facing the entrance. Upon its back was strapped a large satchel. Further inspection proved it to contain a body much like that of the werewolf that had been tortured (presumably by the perpetrator) and put out of its misery by the guards. This body did not appear to be afflicted, though it bore the same silver embedding. It seems to have been in the satchel for perhaps a day, when considering the heat and moisture of the environment. It stank horribly, as if it had been baking in the leather. The heart in the sack appears to possibly be from the aforementioned body, judging by size. A note had been given to me by Senna and has been tagged onto this report.



Senna (long reddish-brown hair, altmer, female) -
On the perpetrator: 'Ugly, tall, smells like anger. Act not right, put thing (assumed to be the heart in the sack) on table.'
The recount: 'Bad lady come to tree. Bad lady act not normal. Not normal sounds. Put 'this' on table.' She indicated her chest, over her heart. 'Bad lady run. Bad lady have horse.'

S'soud (khajiit, dark beige fur, no mane, female) -
'Soud wasn't paying very close attention. She heard commotion but thought nothing of it. She turned around and saw a heart on the ground near the doorway of the tavern. Someone took it and did something with it, though she knows not what. She ran off because she was afraid.' Upon requesting clarification, it was Soud whom ran out of fear, not the perpetrator.

Terath Drethan (dunmer, male, Steward of the Fighters Guild, long black hair, red eyes) -
The recount: 'I was working the bar when the culprit walked in and stared at me. I nodded and kept working. They came up to the counter, set a sack down, and laughed before walking out. A heart rolled out of the sack. I quickly returned it to the bag, then called for the guard and made chase. I stopped when I saw the guards doing the same, allowing them to take over the situation.'
On the perpetrator: 'They were tall, but not as tall as [Seriduril]. They had a mask. I think they wore a sort of tan overcoat with a hood. The mask was real creepy-like.'

Kibary (via Private Amaethaera) -
'Kibary informed me that the woman with the frightful mask entered the tavern and placed the sack upon it. The heart spilled out, she closed it quickly, and she fled, abandoning the heart. He knew she was a she because her breastplate was clear.'

'Dear Boss. Left you another body. This time I made sure the toy didn't see my face like I did the wolf. Won't be cocky again. But this chase game is getting boring with no one to chase me, maybe next time I'll let you catch me. Sincerely Ripper'



The body was left enclosed in the satchel and moved to the clinic, placed to the left of the alchemy table, in the corner. The heart remains in the sack and was placed atop it. No additional moves have yet been made.



We appear to be looking for a female altmer or nord. The perpetrator must be relatively strong or afflicted to handle the bodies as she does. She has a relative understanding of anatomy and seems to believe that she is playing a game with the guardsmer. As of this time, the body has not been identified.; keep an eye out for missing-persons reports.

Possible profiling includes a womer with a need for attention, possibly someone with both older and younger siblings, or a single child. The womer is likely young, perhaps twenties or thirties, likely prone to private engagements with others with little to no interactions outside that. The womer has a high tolerance - and perhaps even a liking - for gore, so it may be presumed that the womer has either suffered intense trauma or suffers from a genetic mental illness. Possibly cannibalistic.

Bethany, the Inspector, Ali and Afer were assisting an argonian that they claimed to be the late Marshal, Thorn. When it was suggested that it might not be him, the concept was met with disbelief and assurance that they know what they're doing. I do not believe a silver test was even administered. The argonian was staying in the Fighters' Guild storage room, I do not know why.

N/A Thorn was last seen alive surrounded by Clannfear, a Daedroth and a Hunger in the realm of Mehrune's Dagon, without a weapon. To survive that alone, let alone months alone in the Deadlands is highly unlikely. It is much more likely to be a daedra wearing Thorn's remains, or he made a deal with Dagon to help use the heart tree to bring the Prince into this realm. Or, his mind was addled and he is being used. Either way, whatever he is, he is a threat to the safety of the town. He has been banished permanently. I would have attempted to silver test or exterminate the argonian, however I felt that I would be stopped by Bethany, Ali, Afer and the Inspector and wished to avoid injury of myself or other witnesses.

Lucia made the point that Thorn should have been imprisoned and tested. I agree, however, my main priority was to get him out of town and away from the heart tree. Any testing or banishment to oblivion can be attempted outside of town.

A search of the Guild storage room and the heart tree to make sure no summoning runes have been placed will take place.

Addendum: A search of the Fighters' Guild buildings, the town center and the heart tree was done by Wren, suggest that guards be on the lookout for suspicious activities, particularly for stones that could be used to create portals.

Kashya Vulano was leaving the Tall Trunk Tavern after being boisterous and disruptive with the other patrons, ordering a breathtaking amount of liquor. Asked if she was permitted to order drink from the tavern. She claimed this was true. Requested patrons of the tavern be treated with some respect. She opted to collect her eight bottles and depart.

As she was departing and at the threshold, she and Terrance (altmer, light eyes, tends to wear white, blind and blindfolded, barred from the clinic) collided. The suspect then clouted the other in the back of the head with a whiskey bottle, dropping the second one and smashing it on the floor in the process.

She was thus arrested.

He did claim some dizziness, but he attributed it to brandy. Will check with him later and advised him to come personally as he is permitted not within the clinic. Kashya Vulano is the former Marshal of the Vulkwasten Guard. She has been consuming vast quantities of alcohol for some time and has caused several altercations with the tavern. Wren was arrested after she entered into the town centre as per the wanted poster placed by the Marshal, for drug use (skooma) and battery (of Wraesha). She turned herself in without contest save refused to be shackled, but chose to go unto the cells ahead. Both Wren and Wraesha stated that they were pursing not battery on each other.

Wren had two healing black eyes, and healing scratches over her left. Was pale, as though she had slept not for a few days. Trembled greatly, particularly when facing the cell.

Wren: Incarcerated as per the writ from the Marshal in the warded cell. Requested a healer look at her. M'lady Lucia looked at her and found that while she had two black eyes, she had already been seen by two other healers and all was well.



Arrested as per notice of Marshal Seriduril on the guard board. As per it, Wren will be expected to remain in a cell until she is clean (as determined by Alijham), followed by nine days jail time and one week of probation. Consider Alijham notified, left note in clinic.

His mannerisms and speech had changed from his jester persona. I consent to the sale of the wagon and the stuff in it for the purpose of funding this rescue effort, should that be needed. Amae was being hassled by Sadri, and one of the Rose Garden employees called "Petal." (Big bouncer.) They wanted her to quit the guard so she could work at the garden. She mentioned this to me the day she was kidnapped, and mentioned it to others as well. Seeing as Sadri has been discovered to be responsible for kidnappings, I approached Usil and "Petal" in the Rose Garden but they refused to cooperate. People should be wary when dealing with employees of that location, as they may be a front for slavers. They are outside town guard jurisdiction though, so legally nothing can be done at this point. I'd suggest finding somewhere else to drink in the meantime if you value your freedom.


I also want to note that Terrance was close to Sadri, I had seen them together quite a bit. If anyone is going to question Terrance DO NOT DO IT ALONE. Don't do ANYTHING alone. Do not go scouting alone. Do not offer yourself as slaver bait. STAY SAFE. Tell people where you are going, and organise to check in regularly!

P.s. Keys, don't sell it yet, we might be able to use it.

Another note in Keys' writing sits atop the pile. Someone has straightened the desk up. Smells like scale polish.

A khajiit named Meer offered to aid in our efforts against Sadri for pay. Said he's good with swords and magic.

Aida (white female khajiit, about my age) found Sadri's lockbox. We tried to open it. Moved Sadri's belongings (a ton of jester suits and a priest robe) into the Guard Hall because munkees are stealing his stuff. Also searched cart for hidden compartments. One just big enough to fit Sadri's box was in there. Empty. Aida stole the box from what is technically my property, but because it helped our cause, I will not press charges this time.

I also got his deck of cards and put them next to the lockbox.

Amaethaera (paraphrased) -
Maddren outran a bear with an arrow in his shoulder. He'd whipped Amaethaera strongly enough to cut her. Sadri's demeanor was different on the plantation than she was familiar with. He acted as a noble. 'Generous with his chattel'. She and Estre had been taken to a ball, at one point, and an altmer had tried to buy Estre from him. She learned 'how to breathe, how to knee, how to-' she'd cut off, there, and flushed red. I will not dig deeper into that matter (we've enough without needing to), though actions can be inferred. Terrance 'rescued' Amaethaera from the plantation and kept her in a cage until she agreed to quit the Guard and find employment with the Rose Garden. She says that he has a strange fixation on the Rose Garden and speaks of 'salvation'.

Upon speaking with Amaethaera, she, Thris, and I came to the conclusion that she needed a safe, temporary distance between herself and Terrance (whom had been following her as a 'bodyguard') until we could get things properly sorted out. It was in full agreement between the three of us that we arrest her for two counts of aggravated assault. Thris and I willfully allowed ourselves to be injured and acted in accordance to create a proper story. No charges have been nor will be truly pressed against Amaethaera. She has since been released.

The banishment of Terrance, Sadri, and Maddren have been placed on the notice board. The Fighters Guild has likewise been notified as there is possible possession and/or lycanthropy involved. We have agreed to aid them, though our forces are not equipped to handle such. Information is to be shared ONLY with Steward Terath Drethan and Acting Steward Lucrezia via ONLY Marshal Seriduril and Sergeant-Major Wren Nightdale.

Collectively, Terrance, Sadri, and Maddren are charged with the following (not inclusive) -

Sadri had an arm removed by Adsomar, and Disenyl took out one of his eyes. He should be easy to identify with these injuries.

I also want to add that while Nammu was involved with the slavers, he approached the guard and provided the information required to rescue those taken. He has been officially pardoned of all involvement. He did also offer to help investigate the Rose Garden and Petal, though the information above was discovered before his help was needed. HOWEVER: If he is seen taunting, mocking, or otherwise bothering those affected by these events he is to be given one warning and then arrested for harassment. He was pardoned for past events, this does not protect him against future crimes.

Thorn has been awaiting re-entry into the town for the past month, performing menial servant work and getting acquainted with the town he has been currently staying in. I visited him this evening, and we have moved him back into his home outside of town. I am currently attempting to contact Amelie, so that she can perform whatever tests she has to allow Thorn to come back into town.

Thorn means quite a lot to me, Seriduril. I would please ask that you have an open mind; should anything go wrong with this, I will take the blame for any criminal act that may result, should he not be who he says he is. He has been through a lot, however; I don't want to explain what all has occurred to him over a note.

The First of Frostfall - Thris and Wren Nightdale

Thris's Belongings as dictated by Seriduril: Five daggers, six throwing knives, one coin purse, and seven lockpicks.

Testimony as given by Wren Nightdale, it should be noted she was considerably withdrawn when these notes were taken thus her the full story might be lacking as I tried to piece together as much as I could.

Wren expressed that she had punched Thris and proceeded to argue with him. During said argument, she noticed that his eyes were "dark and "glazed over." Generally "different."

At this point, Ms. Nightdale grew even more unresponsive and simply uttered the name, "Friess."

This concludes all of the information that was given to me, initiate Aeliester.

A note was added on top of the folder containing the report for Terrance and Sadri:

Terrance was escorted out of Vulkwasten this evening, the 3rd of Frost Fall.

I calmly explained the banishment order that was given, I read the charges against him and answered any questions he had. He denied any memory of the charges, insinuating that it must have been someone who looked like him. He also denied being Petal, though refused to bringing Petal to town to clear his name; however that only would have removed one of the charges against him, at best.

Nammu, (wears a bird mask) and Lola (Dunmer female), witnessed this information being given outside of town.

He also said that Sadri had been possessed, and exorcised and seemed irritated that the banishment was still in place. I explained that seeing as nobody had told the guard of this, there wasn't much we could do about it. Apparently Corporal Amaethaera was present for it, and many others, though nobody has seen fit to inform the guard, which makes me doubt the validity even more.

As a note, unless a senior mages guild member who is experienced with possession or exorcism was present during this 'exorcism,' I would be VERY hesitant to accept it. Even if half the town was present, without a reputable and experienced mage to observe, the entire thing could have been an elaborate illusion or hoax. Considering six townspeople were taken by these mer, and even more affected by their actions, we should be cautious to let them back in.

I suggest:
1. A senior mage - for example Amelie, or Bethany - to corroborate the fact that he had been possessed.
2. A senior member of the Fighters Guild - Terath or Lucrezia - to corroborate that he is no longer possessed.
3. A respected member of town who witnessed the exorcism, and who has knowledge of possession and/or exorcism
4. A guarantee from one of the above, that whatever possessed him has been banished to wherever it came from and cannot come back and do it again.

Possession, especially if it is daedric or necromantic in nature, should be treated like a cursed lycan or vampire. The body, willingly or unwillingly, is host to something that controls their actions, normally in a violent or malicious nature. However, when using a claim of possession to get out of consequences of a crime it should be up to the person/s to prove that it was the case. A simple silver test, as with other cured cursed, does not suffice, as vampires and lycans cannot be reinfected. Also it's important to note that they are still held accountable for crimes they committed while cursed, therefore I personally do not think that a claim of 'I have been exorcised, I should receive no punishment' is acceptable. Whether or not he was possessed, a punishment should still stand.

As such, I have heard no similar defences from Terrance, other than 'I don't remember doing that.' Therefore there is no reason this banishment should be lifted. I warned him very clearly, if he attempted to re-enter town, he would be imprisoned and executed. I do not think, given the severity of the crimes and the number of charges, that this is unreasonable.

Greetings Marshal and Major,

I wished to provide you with some manner of informal report in regards to the Rose Garden, Sadri, Petal, and Terrance.

Sundas, First of Frost Fall: Sadri was somehow exorcised by Terrance on Sundas. 'Twas difficult to watch as the head of Sadri did a full turn on his neck during. The sound alone may haunt me for a time. Solely Usil, Hlor, Terrance, and I bore witness to the consciousness gaining of Sadri afterwards. M'lady Vulano, m'lady Lucia, and a dunmer named Lola were present for everything leading up to what horrifically seemed akin to the death of Sadri. Orion seems to be no longer within him and Sadri has mostly regressed into that of a child. I have seen no hint of Sadri acting anything aside from a child and in shock. Usil and I had to change his bedclothes and breeches.

Morndas, second of Frost Fall: I had to escort Sadri from town for he sought his crown with a childlike stubbornness. He listened and I was able to take him back and get him back into bed. M'lady Lucrezia, Afer, Hlor, and Initiate Aeliester all were present. I spoke not of the banishment unto Sadri as 'tis like he will begin to understand not. Getting him out of town was my priority. Initiate Aeliester administered a silver test upon Sadri on the request of m'lady Lucrezia, which Sadri was able to pass.

Tirdas, third of Frost Fall: During the weekly event at the garden, m'lord J'Varr was ejected by Usil after he attacked Sadri while unarmed. I may have spoken harsh words unto m'lord J'Varr in an effort to get him to see what did he. M'lady Dawn and I found Sadri in his room and tended his broken nose.

Other notes:
- Terrance and Petal are indeed the same individual somehow. He admitted it, and Usil knew.
- Terrance has vowed to no longer interfere in my life remotely dramatically even if he believes the guard is safe not for one such as I.
- I may or may not be permitted to remain in the Rose Garden as some form of staff.

I know these events may not exhonerate either of them of any crimes, much less all of them, and I am saying not that it should, but I wished you to be aware of the situation at the Rose Garden.

I request that we perhaps begin using the guard notice board in the hall for these notes. 'Tis of import that all guards be aware of what is passing rather than merely the Marshal.

Finally, it pains me to admit it, but I am in need of rest. I know not how many days more I may remain on duty before I crumple in my armour and such would be good not. I know you have few guards with any experience, but every step is a deep ache.

He told me to either shoot him or put the bow down, refusing again to leave. So I shot him in the arm and dragged him to the town line, put a foot on his ass and shoved him out. Told him next time he comes back I'd be taking him out on a body cart.

I took the time to write out what I consider to be the official charges. Dated 6/22, evening - as documented by Marshal Seriduril, further explained by Major Wren Nightdale
Event occurred during the siege. The 'Magpies' - the Vulkswasten chapter lead by Wraesha - devised a plan with the Fighters Guild and the Town Guard to retrieve supplies from Gold Coast to support the town. It was suggested that I accompany Wraesha's group by Terath Drethan - Steward of the Fighters Guild - rather than stay behind to defend the beach. Wraesha's reluctance to allow such convinced me to do just that. We boarded a boat and docked at our destination.

Wraesha and Keys intended to stay behind, so I'd asked Estre Ohtarona to keep an eye on them as the rest of us headed to the merchant to purchase the supplies. While we were gone, Wraesha and Keys left the boat to head to the light house. I asked Annor to spy on them, and he returned to me explaining that Wraesha and Keys were meeting with whom we later found to be Benedryl; Wraesha was attempting to sell skooma. Wraesha had shot Keys in the foot with a crossbow (she claims it as accidental) and had nearly killed Wren with a bolt to her chest, mere inches from her heart. She was arrested for using Vulkswasten as a base of operation for peddling skooma, as well as for the attempted murder of Wren Nightdale and the assault on Keys. Wraesha was threatened with banishment; upon Marshal Kashya Vulano's request, she was held in an attempt to clean her of skooma with the intent of giving her a second chance. Aleeane Chrayler approached me, admitting to skooma use. When asked, she explained that she'd purchased skooma from Wraesha twice. Wraesha was already jailed, at this time; Aleeane was arrested and charged with skooma use.

Wraesha was offered and consumed skooma while in her cell, given to her by Benedryl. Benedryl was arrested and charged with skooma use. Wraesha was, again, threatened with banishment; Marshal Kashya Vulano decided to keep her in the cell in an attempt to help her get clean.

Wraesha was released from her cell on the agreement that she turn over any skooma she may have at her warehouse, check in with the Guard every few days, and speak with Alijham on a daily basis to prevent further abuse.

Wraesha was charged with attempted murder against Ma'Sura. Wraesha declined to give an explanation of her actions, despite being prompted several times. She admitted to the intent to murder Ma'Sura, but nothing more.

Due to evidence found at the scene, Ma'Sura had been knocked unconscious via a pan to her skull, knocking teeth loose. A medical report filed by Beleigh Andaille states that the wounds made beyond the initial strike were performed while she was unconscious as there was no evidence that she fought against Wraesha. In an unofficial statement by Ma'Sura - witnessed by Wren Nightdale - Ma'Sura stated that she provoked Wraesha, though the wounds following the strike make it clear that the intent was murder, not simply aggravated assault. It had been suggested by Gilyn Bels that Wraesha may have had intent to skin Ma'Sura and sell her coat as a means of repaying debt, though the evidence of such is loose. Ma'Sura had briefly died, and had it not been for our healers, she would have been lost.


The following crimes have been acknowledged in detail. They have not been dated and documented, though they have been known, admitted to by Wraesha, and considered when making the final decision in this case.

Wraesha attempted to sell a soul gem holding the soul of Ulundil, a civilian whom she had employed for the Magpies. She did not put his soul in the gem, or kill him, but sought to take advantage of his suffering. Her opinion did not change when informed that Ulundil could still be aware and suffering in the gem, stating that her need was greater than his soul as she needed gold.

Wraesha used Vulkswasten as a base to smuggle aylied artifacts for the Magpies.

Wraesha sold skooma to a disguised member of the Guard.

Wraesha shot Wren Nightdale in the shoulder with a crossbow during the siege.

Wraesha paid someone to give skooma-laced wine to Wren Nightdale with the intent of getting her hooked on the substance.

Wraesha took payment from her debt collector in trade for information that resulted in Wren's abduction into slavery.

Wraesha personally removed enchanted bracelets from Wren Nightdale's wrists that required removing skin from her arms in order to allow another assailant the ability to assault Wren's mind. This action resulted in Wren's near death and trauma.

The decision to execute Wraesha was not made lightly. A meeting was called that included the voices of Wraesha, Marshal Seriduril, Major Wren, Sergeant Amaethaera, Initiate Steel, and Initiate Aeliester. We deliberated and considered the evidence and her charges; the options on the table were banishment or execution. Four of the five guards present voted execution without doubt.

We cannot risk her causing more harm to others. Even banished from Vulkswasten, that wouldn't cease her involvement with its citizens, and the likelihood of her managing to commit more heinous crimes to resolve her debt - whether involving Vulkswasten or otherwise - is too high.

She well be executed in a private setting on the morning of Loredas, Frostfall 7 under the watch of Marshal Seriduril and Major Wren. She will be cremated and her ashes given to her loved ones.



A copy of her crimes will be posted on the town's notice board to help resolve doubts amidst its citizens.

Despite this, his obnoxious behavior led him to attempt to kick Reliza as he was being detained, but gave no further resistance as he was brought to the cells.

After attempting to check Maddren for weapons, Reliza grew tired from the multitude of hidden pockets and instead relinquished his outfit entirely; he has been detained, and is now in commoners clothing as he awaits sentencing.




I have remained relatively patient with Maddren, but he seems to be harassing Amae while simultaneously attempting to apologize to her; after a long conversation, he seems rather genuine on trying to better himself, but I will not keep him in town if he has intention of making the victims of the slavery epidemic uncomfortable.

I was in the tavern reading over some notes when the suspect had entered the building. He ordered one drink and offered one to me, I declined his offer. He ordered another drink and started to leave the scene, saying that the fighter's guild would pay for it. I confronted him and told him to pay, He constantly told me that he was a hero and the guild would pay him for his actions. As I went to arrest him he tried to resist once or twice but submitted, he did not grow violent at all. He also said that he did not have any gold on him but when I had searched him, he did in fact have gold, enough for two drinks.




It was only I and him present at the time. Another Barmaid didn't show up till I was in the process of Shackling him.


He has been searched, all of his items are in the evidence locker and he has been given a set of clothes since he did not have any.




He's a boastful bastard. Would not be surprised if he tried this again in the future. I suggest keeping an eye on him.

A conversation arose that led Afer to attempt a silver test on Ma'sura. After refusing, Ma'sura ran into the tavern and hid behind Way'Fena, who attempted to restrict the Guard from doing their job by casting a ward between us. Afer used the rear entrance to subdue Ma'sura and, after being given a vial of belladonna, Ma'sura was tested and deemed to be unafflicted. In suspicion of aiding a potential lycanthrope, however, Fena was additionally attempted to be tested; she refused, attempted to flee, and ultimately shifted into a lycanthrope before escaping with grievous, potentially fatal wounds to the back, which would have surely punctured a lung or artery.

As this attack occurred, I was forced to keep control of Ma'sura, who was attempting to retaliate and defend the disgusting creature, doing so much as drawing her sword on Afer and attempting to swat at him. She was dispatched, and to be convicted for the crime of assault, with a reduction in fine from 1,000 to 250 Drakes. Upon Wey'Fena's attempt to flee, Private Thaleg jumped atop the creature and pierced a silver dagger in her back; the doomed creature had just enough energy to flee, and Thaleg was ordered to dismount the creature. The werewolf escaped, but is presumed dead unless information proves otherwise. Her children should likewise be tested; should any of them be afflicted, they will have to be taken care of accordingly.

A scream was heard from the tavern. Upon investigating I was told by the bartender that a figure was scaring her. Shortly after talking to the figure he dis-robbed, revealing to be an undead horror of some sort. The creature attacked the townsfolk. After a fight resulting in injuries of a khajiit the creature was put down.



Lucia Hlaalu: I come down to the tavern and see this shite. That slime better not hurt the tree.




The remains were disposed off. However, an infant child was found with the creature and is currently in custody of the Mage's Guild.



Lady Marshal, I know you were there but I still must shamefully admit that I cowered in fear. I am deeply sorry for such behaviour and will take whatever punishment you see fit.

Hloriella Sloane was approached by two Redguard bandits on Fredas, while going south down the main road away from town. One bandit held an axe to her neck and threatened her bodily harm while the other went through her personal belongings and stole her ruby wedding ring. They also damaged many apples she was carrying in her bag. After robbing her, they ran off in different directions and she followed one of them until she lost sight of him. She said the two bandits are identical twins and both have names that start with the letter 'V'. She also said they have been in town before so perhaps they may return.

During the Faire, Sa'Muja and I overhead Afer, Lucia and Terath speaking about the Hall Steward and another guild Member name Tal'rielle being imposters. It was said the Tal'rielle had felt sick on the job on Middas and left early, then an imposter lured Terath away from the other Guild members in Al'kiri and he spent two days with the imposter. Afer believes that this Terath is also an imposter because the Tal'rielle that he spoke to yesterday (Turdas) told him that Terath never came home after the Guild job on Middas.


Sa'Muja and I spoke directly with Terath in the Guard Hall. He confirmed the story about Tal'rielle feeling sick and leaving early. He said that the took some medication and felt better enough to return and got him at the job site, and the two spent two days together at the desert then returned back at Vulkwasten. Terath says that Tal'rielle then started to panic because the medication wore off, causing her to not remember much of their time together in the desert, causing her to think that Terath did not return home.





We questioned Afer, who said that it was Guild business and that Terath was not a danger to himself or the town.

We questioned Terath about Afer, who said that Afer just wanted to be the hero all the time.





We took no further action besides the questioning.





Terath's mood was very irritable, more than usual. He seemed very frustrated with all the suspicion from his Guild mates, sister and guards. He did not appreciate the questions but was very cooperative.


I know this is confusing and not a lot to go on but I thought you would like to know about this in case something else comes up, Madam Marshal.

Furron came to the Guard about his sister, Zalya, whom he believed to be missing. I was put in charge of the case and this evening, while on my way back to the Barracks to rest, I ran into Zalya in town. Her hand and leg seemed injured so I escorted her to the clinic.

She said that she was going to the beach and got distracted by a wild piglet and decided to go after it, causing her to get lost in the jungle. She ran into two men, one of them was the former Guard, Thelin. I asked her if she was sure and she said it was the same mer that killed 'Chays' and it looked like they were hunting. There was another vampire that she believe Thelin called 'Tormund' with him. He was pale, dressed in black and she believed him to be a mer and vampire. She ran off, frightened, and Thelin let her go, but 'Tormund' ran after her and grabbed her. She says that Thelin convinced 'Tormund' to let her go and she ran deeper into the jungle, getting lost for days without food until she found her way back into town again.

She claims that any new injuries she has are from an illness that she did not feel comfortable disclosing with me. She even asked that I removed that from the report, along with the part about her chasing the piglet into the woods. Which I have now wrote again and must mark out. I'm sorry, Marshal. The piglet is not on trial here.

Miss Zalya informed me that she has not seen her brother, Furron, since she returned to town. I let her know that he may be looking for her but that we will keep our eye out for him. If he doesn't return home tomorrow, she will report him missing.



There were no witnesses other than Miss Zalya herself and these were the notes she gave me.



Report Filed. Missing Person found and taken to the clinic. I suggested that she visit the clinic again in the morning so someone can check her wounds. I also suggested that she not leave town without an escort for now.

The suspects claimed we were being stupid and dumb but wouldn't care to elaborate. One of them said we were in danger but couldn't say otherwise they would be at risk. Not sure what's going on. Who knows, maybe some new trick slavers are coming up with
