Physical Description
Tekeet is a female Khajiit with blue eyes and white fur. She originally had black markings on her fur but once she became a vampire the markings disappeared and left her with a coat of plain white fur. Tekeet has long, unadorned black hair and one earring on each ear. When fighting, Tekeet wears khajiiti style heavy armor with a shield and a daedric style sword. On an average day however, she prefers to wear plain clothes that were “acquired” from the various towns she visited.
Flairs:
Tekeet prefers to stay in port towns by the sea where she can fish and, as such, her fur is often covered in sand.

Background
Tekeet rarely talks about personal matters with anyone. However, despite her hope that this unwillingness would discourage anyone from searching any further into her life, it instead fostered curiosity. Eventually someone noticed that Tekeet would write in a certain book from time to time, and that someone resolved themselves to steal a look at the book one night while Tekeet slept. In it, they learned of the details surrounding Tekeet’s past.
Tekeet was born in Riverhold but raised on its streets. It was on those streets that she first learned how to fight, using a thin but sturdy board to defend herself against thieves. Her parents died before she was even old enough to remember their faces and she was taken in by a relative for a few years, but this relative was murdered by thieves one day during a trip to the market. By the time Tekeet was forced out of the relative’s house onto the streets she was almost seven. However rather than succumbing to thievery to stay alive she managed to get a job helping a local blacksmith. The blacksmith wouldn’t let her work the forge because she was just a child, but Tekeet still learned about the basics of blacksmithing by watching the smith.
After working for the smith during the day, Tekeet would return to the abandoned wreck of a home she stayed in. She liked to amuse herself by imagining the people who had lived in the house before it was abandoned. She dreamed about the lives they lived and they happiness they shared, pretending she could share in that imagined happiness by sharing in the house.
While she never had a proper house for herself in Riverhold, she still considered the city her home up until the time she left to travel the world at the age of sixteen. Her goal was to study the world and its history, but she had little money and no supplies. So, in an effort to realize her dream, she joined up with a group of Khajiit traders as a guard and set out to see the world with them. She helped the traders by day, guarding them on the road and in the marketplace, and in the afternoon she talked with local scholars about ancient cities and long-dead cultures.
Despite the hardships she had seen as a child, Tekeet still believed the world to be a good place. However, the more she learned of both the world of the past and that of the present the weaker that belief grew. Eventually she contracted an illness and became increasingly depressed. The traders decided to leave her behind and move ahead, sure she would die regardless of whether they took care of her or not.
However one trader lingered behind the others and went back to her. This trader was a vampire who had hidden his identity from the traders so he could continue traveling with them. In hopes of curing her illness through vampirism, the trader infected Tekeet as she lay unconscious and then hurried to catch up with the traders.
When Tekeet awoke her illness was gone, though as she realized what had happened she was enraged. She didn’t see it as a gift but as a curse, one that would force her to remain in a corrupt world for the rest of time.
Having lost all hope for the world Tekeet did the only thing she could think to do and continued her research into the past. She resisted the urge to feed when she could, but when it grew too strong she went out in search of bandits and murderers. When she found one she would feed on them, kill them, then return to town.
Eventually Tekeet began to see only the darkness in others. The same imagination that allowed her to see the happy lives of imagined people turned dark. Now, looking at the world and its people, she sees nothing but evil and darkness in even the most good and charitable person. However despite her poor view of the world, she still hopes to one day find someone from whom she can find not a shred of darkness and had since resolved herself to follow that person for all of time and to the end of Nirn should she ever find them. That resolve was made 283 years ago and she is still hoping to find such a person.
