Aeraelyn was born in Valenwood. Her parents were both very kind people and well known in the community. Aeraelyn spent her childhood years climbing the trees of Valenwood and watching her peers play. Aeraelyn’s father taught her to create a bow from the bones of animals rather than wood, out of respect for the earth. Ever since, she has been fascinated in preserving trees and the natural environment. When Aeraelyn was nineteen years old, her parents were killed by raiders. Aeraelyn ran away, believing that she would be killed too. She then found herself in Auridon, searching for work. She finds herself attempting to take the lives of people she strongly dislikes. She sees this as doing a service for the community.
